Man Utd could miss four players heading into Tottenham encounter

United could again be without up to four players due to injury, after the same number missed last weekend's 3-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

That win, secured by a late Benjamin Sesko goal, extended Carrick's perfect record to three wins from three since taking charge and kept the club fourth in the table.

One notable absentee against Fulham was Mason Mount. Carrick confirmed the midfielder missed the match due to a minor knock, but the issue is not expected to keep him sidelined for long.

Mount is anticipated to be available for selection against Spurs, offering a timely boost ahead of a demanding run of fixtures.

The more serious concern surrounds Dorgu, who suffered a hamstring injury during United's 3-2 win over Arsenal more than a week ago.

The setback is expected to rule him out for at least a month, a significant blow given his strong recent form and clear improvement under Carrick.

Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt remains unavailable, having been sidelined since December with a lower back problem.

His recovery has been hampered by multiple setbacks, and while a return is expected later in February, he will not feature against Tottenham.

There is more positive news regarding Joshua Zirkzee. Although he did not feature against Fulham, with Carrick opting for Sesko and Bryan Mbeumo, the forward is now fully fit and back in training. He is expected to be available this weekend as his workload is gradually increased.
