Manchester City's Ruben Dias wary of 'dangerous' Crystal Palace ahead of league clash

Manchester City's Ruben Dias wary of 'dangerous' Crystal Palace ahead of league clash

The two teams will be meeting for the first time since the Eagles famous FA Cup final victory against City at Wembley.

"We know how difficult it is to go there," admitted Dias to the club website.

"They keep on being this team that is dangerous – they have quality everywhere. Players have been coming in and out, but they remain dangerous so we're very aware of the game we're going to play. We want to go there and do what we have to do."

Palace currently sit in fifth spot on the league table, five points behind second placed City, who have won their last three matches.

Meanwhile Palace will also be looking to win their third league game on the trot following a fairly disappointing start to the season after their FA Community Shield triumph.

"They're obviously good defensively – it's not easy to get into the structure. They've always been dangerous in the transitions," added the Portugal centre-back.

A win for Pep Guardiola's side will see them cut the gap with table toppers Arsenal to two points after 16 matches.
