Durban City coach Pitso Dladla defends tactics following narrow Sundowns defeat
Durban City coach Pitso Dladla has defended his defensive tactics following a narrow 1-0 defeat to Betway Premiership title-chasing Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday.

Katlego Ntsabeleng scored the only goal for the Brazilians at Chatsworth Stadium after just nine minutes.
Sundowns controlled large swathes of possession throughout the tie but without finding a second goal, as title rivals Orlando Pirates eased to a 5-0 win over Golden Arrows in their midweek league clash.
The result left Sundowns on top of the Premiership standings with 56 points from 23 games, and the Buccaneers in second with 54 points.
Reflecting on the game, Cardoso was at pains to explain that his team was never in danger of dropping points.
"If you look at the statistics, we made 770 passes, had 15 shots at goal, forced zero saves from Ronwen Williams and held 77% possession," said the head coach on IOL.
"The result is slender, but it is a victory nonetheless; it is three points. It is not easy on this pitch, so credit to the boys for three points."
Cardoso also lauded Ntsabeleng for his goal, adding: “It means that everything we tell the boys is true. I'm happy for him.”
