Orlando Pirates coach highlights key lesson young players can learn from Deon Hotto
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou believes Deon Hotto's professionalism and longevity make him a role model for young footballers.

The Stallions have won three, drawn three and lost just two of their opening eight games of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership to sit in fifth place with 12 points, 10 adrift of Pirates in second place.
The two sides face off in a Carling Knockout Cup last 16 clash, and Pupuma is confident that his team can cause an upset.
"Hopefully we've learned our lessons from the previous game, and fortunately for us, we will have a ripple effect. Already in the first game, we had a few players out, so we had to adjust a few things," said the head coach.
Pirates have started the defence of their Betway Premiership title well, in second place on the league standings with 22 points from eight games, a point behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns but with a game in hand.
"I'm not saying it would have made a difference, but now we're going into this game full force. We have adjusted to the division, and I think we are in a better space than we were in the first game.
“So, hopefully, we give them a run for their money.”
