Mofokeng, Lilepo, Cardoso claim latest monthly Betway Premiership awards

Mofokeng, Lilepo, Cardoso claim latest monthly Betway Premiership awards

AmaBhakaniya's attacking midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng claimed the Betway Premiership Player of the Month for January and February after scoring three goals and providing three assists for his club.

The Bafana Bafana international has been an integral part of Bucs push for a first league title since the 2011/12 season, pushing them to the summit of the table.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi forward Glody Lilepo walked away with the Betway Premiership Goal of the Month award for January/February after his sensational winner in the 1-0 victory against Marumo Gallants.

However, despite his wonder goal, the DR Congo international will be disappointed that Chiefs have failed to pick up a victory since that match, losing the last three league matches.

Portuguese mentor Miguel Cardoso also won the Coach of the Month award for guiding Masandawana to four wins from their four league fixtures during January and February.

Downs currently lie second on the table due to an inferior one goal difference to top of the table Orlando Pirates.
