Moises Caicedo: Chelsea have a bright future, I want to be part of it

The Ecuadorian midfielder, who joined from Brighton in 2023, has already established himself as a key figure at Stamford Bridge, making 143 appearances and earning recognition as the Premier League Player of the Year for the 2024/25 campaign.

He also played a crucial role in Chelsea's FIFA Club World Cup triumph last year, further cementing his growing influence.

Now with 60 international caps for Ecuador, Caicedo believes there is still significant room for improvement within the current Chelsea group, highlighting his ambition to achieve even more success in the coming seasons.

His reflections appear in the matchday programme for Chelsea's clash with Nottingham Forest tonight, where he discusses both his personal goals and the collective aspirations of the team as they continue to build for the future.

"I believe in this team, this club and I know we're going in the right direction," he said. "We've only just begun together.

"There is still a lot more to achieve, and I'm very hungry to keep improving every day. I want to win more trophies with Chelsea and give everything for this club and for the fans.

"We have enjoyed some great times together already and my dream is to become a Chelsea legend, and I will work as hard as possible to make that happen."
