Moroccan international striker Hamza Igamane thrilled to join Liille

The 22-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract with Les Dogues, keeping him at the French club until the summer of 2030, Foot-Africa reported.

The deal, worth around €12 million, reflects Lille's strong belief in the striker's potential and ambition to strengthen their squad with young talent capable of delivering both in Ligue 1 and on the European stage.

For Igamane, the move represents a major step in his career. After making a name for himself in Morocco with his energy, eye for goal, and sharp instincts inside the box, the player is now eager to prove himself in one of Europe's top leagues.

Speaking after the announcement, Igamane expressed his delight at joining Lille and outlined his ambitions.

"I am thrilled to be joining such a massive club with an incredible sporting project. LOSC is not like any other club — it has a proud history, has won many trophies, and competes in Europe every season," said the striker.

"Lillle is also a very beautiful city, and I can't wait to settle in. I am ready to give everything on the pitch to help the team win and finish as high as possible."

The signing adds further depth to Lille's attack, as the club look to build on their competitive performances in Ligue 1 while aiming for strong showings in continental competitions.

Igamane's arrival is not only a reinforcement for the present but also an investment in the future, with Lille trusting that the Moroccan starlet will grow into one of the key figures of their project.
