Nedbank Cup quarter-final draw: Former champions TS Galaxy paired with Jacksa Spears

Nedbank Cup quarter-final draw: Former champions TS Galaxy paired with Jacksa Spears

The Rockets are the only former winners still in the competition after the so-called big-three of South African football were eliminated.

While holders Kaizer Chiefs had already lost in the round of 32 to Stellenbosch, Orlando Pirates were defeated by Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars, and Mamelodi Sundowns went down to Galaxy.

This is the first time since 2009 that none of the big three have reached the quarter-finals and instead sees Casric and fellow National First Division side Milford and ABC Motsepe side Jacksa Spears take their place in the last eight.

All the quarter-final ties:

AmaZulu vs Casric Stars

Sekhukhune United vs Milford FC

TS Galaxy vs Jacksa Spears

Golden Arrows vs Durban City
