The 22-year-old joins the Soweto giants following a standout season in the Betway Premiership, where he made 29 appearances for the Rockets and scored five goals.
His consistent performances and attacking impact caught the eye of several top-flight clubs, but it's the Buccaneers who have won the race for his signature.
"Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Kamogelo Sebelebele," the club said in a statement confirming the deal.
"Although naturally deployed as a winger, Sebelebele impressed last season with his ability to operate across the backline, featuring at both right back and left back when required. His versatility will no doubt be a welcome addition to head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou's tactical setup."
The Limpopo-born star will begin his journey at Pirates by training with the group that remained in Johannesburg, while the rest of the first team continues its pre-season tour in Spain.
The Buccaneers are currently based in Marbella, where they are scheduled to play their remaining two friendly matches against La Liga sides Las Palmas and Granada before returning home on July 20.
Sebelebele's arrival signals the club's intent to invest in emerging local talent as they prepare to challenge on multiple fronts in the upcoming season.
"From all of us at Orlando Pirates Football Club - welcome, Kamogelo!" the club concluded.
