Real Madrid expect Eduardo Camavinga to find form after recent struggles

Real Madrid expect Eduardo Camavinga to find form after recent struggles

The 22-year-old has endured a difficult period marked by repeated fitness setbacks that have halted his progress and restricted his impact this season. He is yet to start a league game, featuring only four times in La Liga and averaging just 17 minutes per appearance.

Camavinga's absence has opened the door for others to cement their places in Real Madrid's midfield. Aurelien Tchouameni has taken control of the defensive midfield role, while Federico Valverde, Arda Guler and Jude Bellingham have all impressed in more advanced positions.

Despite the fierce competition, the club's hierarchy remain convinced that Camavinga will return to his best form.

According to AS, Real Madrid's board and technical staff continue to see Camavinga as a vital part of their long-term project. The report adds that the club believe his current challenges are only temporary and that his attitude and work ethic have strengthened their confidence in him.

"Camavinga is a special player, and his development is not in question," a club source told the Spanish outlet. "Everyone knows what he can bring once he is fully fit and playing regularly."

Under Alonso, Real Madrid are expected to manage the young midfielder's workload carefully, especially as he recovers full sharpness after his latest injury.

The coaching staff believe that easing him back gradually will help him rediscover the form that made him one of Europe's most exciting young talents.

With Real Madrid maintaining full faith in his potential, Camavinga's challenge now is to translate that belief into performances that re-establish his place among the club's elite midfielders.
