Reeve Frosler relieved to return for Kaizer Chiefs after injury setback

The 28-year-old former Bidvest Wits right-back had been out of action since October last year before making a comeback in the 4-1 Betway Premiership defeat of Magesi last week.

Frosler came on as a second half substitute and even bagged two assists in the convincing win at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

He followed that up with another appearance from the bench in the goalless draw with Polokwane City.

Speaking after his return, Frosler told his club's website: "Being out injured is no fun for any player and I'm no different.

"It was difficult from that point of view, but turned out to be good timing because my wife and I were expecting our second-born and being at home, I could help her around the house.

"It was a great feeling to get back on the field again, though. It always nice to make a contribution.

“The good first half performance of the team made it easy for me to come in. We were two goals up already and playing on the front foot.”
