Report: Borussia Dortmund target signing AS Roma winger Matias Soule

According to reports in Italy, Dortmund are considering an approach for the 23-year-old, who is believed to be open to leaving Roma in search of a fresh challenge.

Soule joined the Serie A club from Juventus two years ago in a deal worth almost 29 million euros, but his future in the Italian capital is now uncertain. The versatile attacker remains under contract until 2029, giving Roma a strong position in any negotiations.

Roma are reportedly valuing Soule at between 35 million and 40 million euros. That price tag could prove to be a significant obstacle, as Dortmund have traditionally been cautious when it comes to spending large sums on transfer fees.

The German club's interest is not new. Soule was linked with a move to Dortmund last summer, although a transfer never materialised. However, the latest reports suggest Borussia Dortmund are now showing stronger intent than several of the player's other admirers.

Premier League clubs Aston Villa and AFC Bournemouth are also said to be monitoring the situation closely, but Dortmund are believed to be the most active suitor at this stage.

Soule has built a reputation as a creative and flexible attacking player capable of operating across multiple forward positions. His technical ability and attacking flair have attracted attention from clubs across Europe, and a summer move appears increasingly possible.
