Sandro Tonali joins Tottenham in record-breaking transfer from Newcastle
Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United in a club-record transfer worth up to 100 million pounds.

According to reports, Besiktas will pay an initial fee of 15.4 million pounds, with a further 1.7 million pounds available through performance-related bonuses. The total value of the deal could reach 17.1 million pounds.
The transfer has not yet been completed, with Besiktas still needing to agree personal terms with Trossard before the move can be finalised.
The 31-year-old has entered the final year of his Arsenal contract, and the reported fee represents a solid return for the Premier League champions if the transfer is completed.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 and quickly became an important member of Mikel Arteta's squad. During his time in north London, he made valuable contributions with goals and assists, helping the Gunners win the Premier League title.
The Belgian international is currently away with his national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He was part of the Belgium squad that produced a remarkable comeback victory over Senegal to book a place in the round of 16.
