Neo Maema delighted with Simba goal after slow start to life in Tanzania
Simba midfielder Neo Maema admits his transition to the Tanzanian Premier League has not been easy after netting his first league goal of the season.

The 30-year-old former Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns defender joined Simba at the beginning of last season.
He was brought to the club by former head coach Fadlu Davids, who has since moved to Raja Cassblanca.
This term De Reuck has made 16 appearances, netting three goals and picking up a number of Man of the Match awards.
He has now been rewarded for his consistent displays in the Tanzanian Premier League, that have also seen him captain the side, by penning a contract extension.
"I'm very happy, obviously. You know, from the first moment that I arrived at Simba, I felt a real connection with the fans. The way they welcomed me was amazing, and the appreciation they have shown me. So, I'm very happy that I can continue my stay here," De Reuck said on FARPost.
"The reason I signed the new contract is that I came here to play football, and I'm doing that. But one of the main reasons is the real connection I have with the club. I'm really enjoying my football here, and I hope we can continue to create great memories and bring the club more success."
Simba are currently in fourth place in the Tanzanian top-flight and last won the title in the 2020/21 season.
De Reuck added that he hopes to help his team regain the league title.
"The goal in the future is to compete in the knockout stages of CAF inter-club competitions. I think that's the level we should aim for, and obviously, we should try to win the league," he said.
“Simba hasn't won the league in a while, so I really believe we have the players to achieve that. That's something I'm looking forward to.”
