Lothar Matthaus backs Bayern Munich to keep hold of Michael Olise
Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus claims the club has no interest in selling star winger Michael Olise despite rumours the player is interested in signing for Real Madrid.

Senegal's campaign ended with a narrow 3-2 loss to Belgium, after which the 34-year-old decided to step away from international football while continuing his club career with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich winger leaves as Senegal's record goalscorer, having netted 55 times in 132 appearances since making his debut against Liberia on 2 June 2012.
Among his greatest achievements with the Lions of Teranga was guiding the nation to its maiden Africa Cup of Nations crown. During the 2021 tournament, which was staged in 2022, Mane converted the decisive spot-kick in the shootout victory over Egypt to seal the historic triumph.
He later captained Senegal to another AFCON success in 2025, although the title was subsequently revoked following a walk-off during the final against Morocco.
Morocco were awarded the championship instead, with Senegal challenging the decision through legal channels. That dispute remains unresolved.
"Now the time has come to close a chapter. Due to my age and the demands of elite sport, I hereby officially announce my retirement from the national team," said Mane, via Sport Bild.
"You should know that I sacrificed everything for this flag. I always gave my best and always fought passionately for our fatherland. Your tireless support was the driving force behind my success.
"In the future, I will gladly put my experience at the service of the nation - whether as a member of a coaching staff, as a coach, or in the governing bodies."
