Wandile Duba agrees to new Kaizer Chiefs contract
Kaizer Chiefs have taken another significant step towards building for the future by tying down promising striker Wandile Duba to a new long-term contract.

The 21-year-old's current deal with the Soweto giants was due to expire at the end of June but the club has moved swiftly to secure the prospect beyond next season.
Duba enjoyed a strong second half of the season, scoring three goals after the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations break to help his side secure a CAF Confederation Cup spot after finishing third on the 2025/26 Betway Premiership.
The Chiefs development product has made 60 appearances in all competitions for Amakhosi, scoring nine goals while also providing five assists.
According to media reports, the club is widely expected to announce French coach Fernando Da Cruz to lead the side in the 2026/27 season and Duba will be hoping to continue getting game time under the new mentor.
The versatile forward will also be hoping to add to his solitary cap for Bafana Bafana after his appearance against Mozambique in last year's COSAFA Cup in June whilst adding to his Nedbank Cup title with The Glamour Boys.
