Francesco Molinari returns as vice captain for the 2027 Ryder Cup
Team Europe captain Luke Donald has named Francesco Molinari as his second vice captain for the 2027 Ryder Cup.

The decision follows Tiger Woods stepping away from consideration for the role earlier this month, after he was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a car crash in Florida.
Furyk, 55, previously led the United States at Le Golf National in Paris in 2018, where Europe secured a convincing 17½-10½ victory. Despite that defeat, he now becomes only the fourth modern-era US captain (since 1979) to be appointed to the role twice.
"The opportunity to captain the US Ryder Cup team for a second time is a tremendous honour," Furyk said.
"I am committed to putting our players in the best position to succeed as we work to reclaim the cup on European soil."
The 2027 Ryder Cup will be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick from 17-19 September, with the Americans bidding to reclaim the trophy on European soil.
Furyk's previous tenure came under scrutiny after the 2018 loss, with his captain's picks contributing just two points from 12 matches. However, he brings extensive Ryder Cup experience as a player, having competed in nine editions and been part of winning sides in 1999 and 2008.
Meanwhile, Luke Donald, who guided Europe to that victory, has been confirmed to continue in charge for 2027 and will attempt to become the first captain in history to win three consecutive Ryder Cups.
