Lucas Glover takes two-shot ISCO Championship lead after bogey-free 64

Co-sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour and played opposite the Genesis Scottish Open, the tournament offers the winner a place in next year's PGA Championship, but not the Masters.

The 46-year-old American reached 13-under-par overall after 36 holes at Hurstbourne Country Club, overcoming rainy conditions during his morning round.

"It was a little bit nasty this morning when we started, had some rain through the first few holes," Glover said. "Played nice, solid, no bogeys through two days. Need to keep that up. Scores are going to be low, so keep the pedal down."

Glover, the only major champion in the field thanks to his 2009 US Open triumph, is chasing a seventh PGA TOUR title. He arrived in Kentucky in good form after finishing tied for third at last week's John Deere Classic.

"I had a feeling it was going to be soft today just with the forecast and everything," Glover said. "Just stay aggressive. Came out a little early after the delay to make sure I had the speed of the greens. They were a tick slower, but nothing drastic."

Chan Kim carded a 65 to share second place on 11 under with Steven Fisk, who signed for a 66. Aaron Wise and Jeong Weon Ko both posted 65s to sit a further stroke back at 10 under.

Defending champion William Mouw surged into contention with a 7-under 63 to move to 9 under for the tournament.

"I played really solid golf today," Mouw said. "Hit my targets, had really good speed on the greens. Short game held up when I missed a green. All in all, very pleased with my round today."
