Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman joins Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr
Kingsley Coman has ended his decade-long spell with Bayern Munich, sealing a high-profile transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
Diaz got on the scoresheet in his first competitive game for the club to add to the goal Kane scored earlier in the match before Jamie Leweling scored a late consolation goal for Stuttgart in a 2-1 win for Bayern.
The Colombian winger put in an impressive debut performance to go along with his goal and Bayern Munich fans will be delighted with how quickly he is settling in to life at the club.
Diaz was also full of praise for Kane, saying it was a privilege to play with someone of that quality.
"I'm so happy tonight. To score was really special. My first official title and my first goal for Bayern - what can I say? It was a spectacular night for me," he said after the game.
"I want to win as many titles as I can here. I tried to find a great club that competes in big competitions and I'm happy to be here. It's special to play with Harry Kane, he's a phenomenon. It's really easy to play alongside him as he has so much quality; it's a privilege."
Kane was also delighted to add a second major trophy to the cabinet during his stint in Bavaria and believes the result will give them confidence going into the Bundesliga season.
"It was a great game for us and such an important encounter at this stage of the season. We've had a few weeks of training and the boys looked good tonight," the Englishman said.
"We could have scored a few more and made things easy for ourselves. It's great to have Luis Díaz. He's a great guy and a top, top player. He gets into those dangerous areas and has a finisher's instinct. We will need that this season.
"The mentality of this squad is to celebrate every trophy like it's the first. We are building on what we did last year, the foundations are there. We are ready to go full gas from now, starting against Leipzig on Friday."
