Sergio Garcia aplogises for club-shattering Masters meltdown
After making headlines for all the wrong reasons on Masters Sunday, former winner Sergio Garcia took to social media to issue an apology.

In the lead-up to the opening major of the year, the Scot seemed in good form, as he was in contention at the Valero Texas Open. He ultimately finished T2, just one behind winner JJ Spaun.
But the magic of Augusta brings something different out of every golfer. For MacIntyre, things came a head on the 15th during the first round. He found the water - twice - before smashing his club on the hallowed ground and scribbling a quadruple bogey nine on his card.
He would end up signing for an eight over 80. While MacIntyre brought it back somewhat with a second-round 71, he still missed the cut.
During the difficult rounds, he also flipped off the cameras, clearly annoyed at all and sundry. Unlike Sergio Garcia, MacIntyre narrowly avoided getting in trouble with Augusta's officials.
But speaking to BBC Sport, MacIntyre admitted it probably won't be the last time he runs hot on the course.
"I know that every single week I pick it up, I'm probably going to get caught on a mic saying the odd bad word, it's part of who I am," said the 29-year-old.
"I try, I probably should limit it or I should try and maybe wait a couple of seconds longer before I do have my outburst.
"But for me to try to compete at the top level, I need to get my frustration out or else it's going to affect my performance.
"I know that what I do sometimes is wrong, but I do try and limit it and keep it in as much as I can. But I know myself that the more this boils up and boils up, I'm going to have a bigger outburst.
"It's about trying to manage it as best I can. And every now and again, it does boil over. I don't know what else I can do as me.
"I wear my heart on my sleeve. The way I was brought up, it's a fight for everything, and sometimes I get hot. It's not going to change."
