Benni McCarthy backs Bafana to prove doubters wrong at 2026 FIFA World Cup finals
Benni McCarthy is backing Bafana Bafana to impress at the upcoming FIFA World Club taking place in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June.

South Africa play the Red Tide as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup kicking off in the United States, Canada and Mexico in June.
Broos' team host Panama at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday, 27 March and at the DHL Stadium on Tuesday, 31 March.
Notable admissions from Broos' squad include Orlando Pirates midfielder Sipho Mbule and Steaua Bucurest's Siyabonga Ngezana.
Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Iqraam Rayners were also left out but Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane returns to the squad after missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.
Minnesota United striker Bongokuhle Hlongwane and Sundowns forward Thapelo Maseko were also recent inclusions.
