Barcelona's squad value soars to new heights

Their squad has skyrocketed in market worth, outpacing every other club globally.

According to Transfermarkt, Hansi Flick's Barcelona have boosted their market value by a staggering 190 million euros since September 2024.

This leap stems from a stellar campaign where they clinched La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup, and reached the Champions League semi-finals. The standout performances of players like Lamine Yamal have been pivotal. "The team's cohesion and young talent have driven this unprecedented growth," Flick had said after their La Liga triumph.

This historic 190-million-euro increase has pushed Barcelona's total squad value past the 1,000-million-euro mark, landing at 1,070 million euros.

They now surpass the Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain, whose squad is valued at 1,060 million euros.

PSG, managed by Luis Enrique, are the second-highest risers, with their value climbing by 176 million euros.

Sporting Lisbon follow in third, their squad value rising by 118 million euros to reach 511 million euros, while Eintracht Frankfurt round out the top four, up 107 million euros to a total of 355 million euros.

At the individual level, Barcelona's homegrown star Lamine Yamal leads the world as the most valuable player. The young Spanish international, who featured in 55 matches this season, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists, is now valued at 200 million euros. "Lamine's ability to change games is remarkable," Flick had said in a post-match press conference.

Tied for second place globally are Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, and Kylian Mbappe, each valued at 180 million euros.

Within Flick's squad, other players have also seen their values soar. Pedri, is rated at 140 million euros, ranking seventh worldwide. Raphinha is valued at 90 million euros, and Pau Cubarsi at 80 million euros, underlining the depth of talent at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona's financial and on-pitch resurgence has cemented their position as a global powerhouse, with their young stars lighting the way for a bright future.
