Caleb Clarke among six injured All Blacks unavailable for Eden Park showdown against Boks

The All Blacks revealed a comprehensive list of injured players sidelined for Round 3 of the Rugby Championship.

Following an ankle injury, winger Caleb Clarke has been released for NPC duty and will only be available for the second Test in Wellington. The same goes for loose forward Luke Jacobson, who was nursing a thigh injury.

The All Blacks' depth at No.9 is also being tested. First-choice scrumhalf Cam Roigard is still 3-4 weeks away from rugby following a stress fracture in his right foot. Fellow halfback Noah Hotham has a similar prognosis after ankle surgery. Chiefs scrumhalf Xavier Roe has been called up as cover.

55-cap veteran Patrick Tuipulotu is also resting after facial surgery and is one month away from a return. Lock Sam Darry has been called up as cover for Tuipulotu.

Finally, powerful winger Timici Tavatavanawai - who earned two caps against France this year - is sidelined for 12 weeks as he requires surgery on a fractured forearm.

There was good news for the hosts, as the experienced duo of Anton Lienert-Brown (concussion) and Tyrel Lomax (hand fracture) have both recovered from injury to re-join the squad in Auckland.
