Marcus Rashford 'wants to win things' and stay at Barcelona beyond loan move
Marcus Rashford has made it clear he wants to extend his loan spell at Barcelona beyond the 2025/26 season.

The Newcastle head coach was speaking after Gordon delivered one of his strongest performances of the season in the recent match against Chelsea, where the winger played a decisive role in attack.
Gordon provided the assist for Nick Woltemade's second goal and was also heavily involved in the build-up to the German's opener.
Although Gordon was not officially credited with an assist for the first goal - his initial shot was saved by Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez before Woltemade converted the rebound - his influence on the game was clear.
Howe pointed to that display as an example of the level Gordon must reach consistently if he is to fulfil his potential at St James' Park.
While the England international has contributed in major fixtures and shown flashes of genuine quality, such performances have been the exception rather than the norm in recent months.
Gordon's 2025 campaign has largely been characterised by frustration, compounded by disciplinary issues. Red cards against Brighton in March and Liverpool in August have disrupted his momentum and damaged his reputation as a reliable "big game player".
"That is the challenge. I thought it [v Chelsea] was one of Anthony's best games this season," said Howe.
"It started very early on the game when he won the ball back in the build up to our first goal and he is the one getting on the end of Murphy's cross and Nick ultimately scores but two actions there, one with the tackle and then in the box.
"That shows Anthony at his very best then he sets up another goal for Nick. So a really productive half for him.
"But it is the same for any player, finding that consistent level of performance where you are hitting very good levels every single game. That is what separates the very best players from the others.
"As we move forward, the challenge for Anth is to try and replicate that performance on a consistent basis."
