Everton sign left-back Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich

The 19-year-old Moroccan international has penned a four-year deal that will keep him at Goodison Park until the end of June 2029.

Aznou arrives on Merseyside with an impressive pedigree. A graduate of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, he spent three years there during his teenage years before making a move to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023.

At the German giants, he gained valuable experience at the highest level, featuring in the Bundesliga, Champions League, and most recently the FIFA Club World Cup in the summer of 2025.

Despite his youth, Aznou is already a senior international for Morocco and is seen as one of the brightest defensive prospects in European football.

His development at both Barcelona and Bayern has earned him a reputation as a composed and modern full-back with strong attacking instincts and tactical discipline.

"I'm so happy to be here. I'm so proud to be part of this team," Aznou told evertontv.

"The project they gave me is really good. The Premier League is the best league in the world so I'm really excited to start.

"The stadium is really nice. It gives you a good feeling and it's good for our fans to support us. It's perfect for us.

"I just have to say I'm really thankful to be here. I'm really proud so I will give everything in every training session and every game."

Everton's acquisition of Aznou marks a significant statement of intent, as the club continues to rebuild with a focus on youth and long-term potential.
