Jurgen Klopp hits back at Real Madrid talk as "complete nonsense"

Speaking during a media appearance, Klopp made it clear that the rumours had no foundation. "All the news that's coming out is complete nonsense. Not once have they called," he said, addressing claims that he could be in line to take over in Madrid.

The former Liverpool FC boss questioned the credibility of the reports, suggesting they had been created without any real basis. "Did Real call me or Perez and ask, 'Jurgen, do you fancy it?' Or is it enough if someone or some AI writes any rubbish?" he added.

Klopp's frustration was evident as he continued to shut down the speculation. "If Real had called me, you would have heard about it. But they haven't called," he said firmly. He even joked about the growing rumours, adding: "And what next – am I also taking over Atletico Madrid at the same time? Sorry, Madrid. They have to call me first before I can say anything."

Currently working in a senior football role within the Red Bull network, Klopp also addressed questions about his future and a possible return to management. While he ruled out any immediate move, he did not completely close the door on coaching again.

"I'm quite advanced in life at my age, but as a coach I'm not completely at the end yet. I haven't reached retirement age," the 58-year-old explained. "Who knows what will happen in the next few years? But nothing is planned right now."

For now, Klopp's message was clear - there is no move to Madrid on the table, and any suggestion otherwise remains pure speculation.
