He also praised the quality and depth in the current squad.
South Africa face Zimbabwe in their Group B finale in Marrakech on Monday afternoon in a Cosafa derby, while Angola take on already-qualified Egypt in a simultaneous kickoff.
Despite being favourites, Sibisi admits the match will not be straightforward. South Africa have won four of their last five games, compared to Zimbabwe's single victory in the same period.
"We're always motivated to play against Zimbabwe," Sibisi told the media during a press conference. "As the coach mentioned, we faced them a few times in the qualifiers, so we know it won't be easy. There's a rivalry as neighbours. We had the upper hand previously, but we need to bring our A-game and stay focused to get the result."
Sibisi stressed the importance of a positive outcome in the game in order for Bafana to make it to the next stage of the tournament.
"A result is crucial. We don't want to lose, and a victory will boost our confidence heading into the knockout stages. We're looking forward to the game and getting that result," he said.
Sibisi and Khulumani Ndamane have been consistent performers in the national team, currently sitting behind Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Siyabonga Ngezana in the central defence hierarchy.
The presence of full backs Khuliso Mudau and Aubrey Modiba further strengthens the squad, according to Sibisi.
"Iron sharpens iron, and it speaks to the quality we have across the pitch," he added.
"Whether it's me or someone else playing, it shouldn't make a difference. This depth helps strengthen the team and maintain high performance and consistency."
With morale high and quality across positions, Bafana Bafana are focused on ending the group stage on a strong note, setting the stage for a competitive run in the knockout rounds.
