Nuno Santos enjoying Sundowns training, feeling more comfortable

The Portuguese attacking midfielder, who arrived at the club at the start of the season from Vitoria Guimaraes, has begun to deliver on the early promise he showed shortly after joining.

In recent weeks, he has emerged as an increasingly influential figure in Sundowns' attacking play.

Santos has registered four goals and seven assists across all competitions, with his impact particularly notable in both the Betway Premiership and the CAF Champions League. His creativity and composure in advanced areas have added a new dimension to the team's forward play.

Reflecting on his improvement, Santos explained that adapting to South African culture and the team's style of play has been key.

He admitted that he now feels significantly more settled than during his initial months at the club, a factor that has translated directly into his performances on the pitch.

The midfielder also highlighted the role of his teammates in easing his transition, emphasising the importance of their support in helping him find his rhythm.

"No, I'm enjoying. I'm enjoying training every day to be better," Santos told Sundowns' media department.

"My teammates also help me a lot and I'm feeling more comfortable now than when I arrived.

"But it's a process, it's normal. I'm getting used to the culture, to the playing game here and I'm happy."
