Raphinha hat-trick maintains Barcelona's perfect start in LaLiga

Barca dominated the match but had to come from behind after Sevilla took a surprise lead in the 19th minute. Felix Correia's found some space on the wing and lobbed an inch-perfect cross to Youssouf Fofana at the near post, and he headed the hosts into a 1-0 advantage.

The lead only lasted three minutes before Andreas Christensen played Raphinha in with a sharp through-ball and the Brazilian winger cut inside before finishing calmly past Odysseas Vlachodimos to make it 1-1.

Barcelona continued their dominance of possession in the second half and took the lead for the first time in the game in the 52nd minute when Lamine Yamal’s cross was headed in by Raphinha.

Seventeen minutes later, Yamal again supplied the decisive pass to Raphinha, who lifted a delicate finish over the advancing goalkeeper to complete his treble and seal the 1-3 victory.

Raphinha now has 12 LaLiga goals in seven matches and Barcelona remain perfect in the 2026-27 LaLiga season with seven wins from seven games.

The Catalans have been on fire to start the campaign and have already netted 31 goals, an average of 4.4 goals per game, while conceding only seven for an imposing goal difference of +24 already.

Espanyol 1-3 Elche

A quick-fire Fernando Nino brace helped Elche to their first win of the LaLiga season in a surprise 3-1 triumph over Espanyol at RCDE Stadium.

Nino opened the scoring in the 26th minute before doubling his side's advantage just three minutes later.

The hosts pulled one back through a Victor Chust own goal in the 72nd minute before German Valera restored the visitors' advantage six minutes later to secure the win.

Osasuna 1-1 Rayo Vallecano

Osasuna were on the back foot for most of their clash against Rayo Vallecano at Estadio El Sadar but managed to cling on for a 1-1 draw.

Despite surrendering 63% of the possession and mustering only one big chance all game, the hosts took the lead through Ante Budimir in the 16th minute.

The visitors fought back hard but struggled to find an opening until after the break when Sergio Camello levelled the scores in the 50th minute to earn them a point.

Celta Vigo 5-0 Racing Club

Celta hammered Racing 5-0 at Estadio Abanca Balaidos even though they had less possession throughout the game.

Hugo González opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute before Ilaix Moriba doubled the advantage 11 minutes later.

Miguel Roman made it 3-0 with a nice finish in the 69th minute, with Pablo Duran adding a late brace of goals to secure the resounding win.

Athletic Club 0-0 Alaves

Athletic Club will be severely disappointed not to have taken more than a point from their clash against Alaves at San Mames.

They dominated possession and produced 24 shots on target against the visitors' two, but were unable to find a breakthrough and were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw.
