Richie Mo'unga: Springboks are a 'complete team'

South Africa won Rugby's Greatest Rivalry series 3-1 after losing the first Test of the tour before winning three in a row, putting in their most dominant performance in the final Test in Baltimore.

The Springboks were clinical with the chances they created and found ways to win despite New Zealand scoring more tries than they did throughout the tour.

"Yeah, definitely. They're a complete team, able to take you on up front and able to be really clinical and take you on in threes," the Mo'unga said.

"But also, they have got players that can play; they have got guys with fast feet in their backs.

"So, it presents us with really good opportunities - we know we have got to be better and that's been the story of the last four Tests.

"But if we can really take those learnings, it'll be really exciting for the future of this team."

Mo'unga pointed to their accuracy and the ability to both deliver under pressure while creating pressure of their own as the decisive factors.

"It's just a game of inches, really. It just came down to a few key moments. We weren't really as accurate as you wanted to be, and yeah, they're just such a great team at applying pressure and taking the opportunities. We didn't take ours," he said.

Looking ahead, the pivot said the All Blacks must now build upon and maintain the advantages they generate.

"There will be a real good conversation around how can we build pressure. We have seen what we can do with the ball, but it might be what can we do without the ball, what is our defence looking like, and really suffocating them down in their own half," Mo'unga said.

"That's from just sort of my first impressions of how the game went. But yeah, it just comes down to some of those small moments we can really be better at."
