Speaking to the media during a press briefing at Chloorkop on Friday ahead of Sundowns' FIFA Intercontinental Cup clash against Asian champions Al Ahli, Morena described his return to Bafana as one of the best feelings a footballer can experience.
"It's a great feeling seeing my name on the list yesterday (Thursday)," Morena told the media.
"I think it's one of those things when a soccer player plays football seeing his name in the squad besides you've been there before, but knowing there's changes and there was a lot of things, also injuries but also being back in the squad is one of the best things to me."
The experienced utility player will now have an opportunity to re-establish himself under Mosimane, a coach he knows well from their time together at Sundowns.
