Tottenham set to battle Premier League duo for Stuttgart star El Khannouss

The 22-year-old recently competed in Morocco's FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign [his second World Cup], starting all six matches as his country reached the quarterfinals before being eliminated by France.

He impressed for his club prior to the global showpiece, scoring nine goals while providing nine assists to help Stuttgart finish fourth and qualify for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League.

North London giants Spurs have reportedly already made contact with the player's representatives and are willing to bid around €30million plus add-ons for the Moroccan.

However, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in acquiring the services of El Khannouss ahead of the new season but have yet to enter negotiations.

VfB Stuttgart are looking for a fee of around €40 to €50million to sell the African youngster this transfer window and have already stated their willingness to negotiate the sale for the right price.

A move for El Khannouss to any of the aforementioned Premier League sides will mean he will miss Champions League football for the upcoming season but gain a notable increase in wages.
