The home side's seam trio of Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and Nahid Rana played key roles in all three matches as the Tigers beat Pakistan by 11 runs in the series decider in Dhaka.
Taskin, Rana and Mustafizur took 19 wickets as a group that included Rana taking his maiden five-wicket haul in the series opener.
Mehidy said after the game: "We went into the match with our best bowling options. Mustafiz, Taskin and Rana have been bowling really well.
"Taskin gave us turning points in the match with his wickets. Otherwise we would have lost the match.
"We had planned to give players full opportunities, as we believe it gives us more chance to win matches. We have to keep our ranking points in mind (to qualify for the ODI World Cup next year).
"It is most important for us in the coming days. It will help us in automatic qualification for the World Cup in 2027. We are focused on winning matches and winning series."
Mehidy added: "I think Nahid Rana bowled very well, especially if you consider that he was making a comeback into the side.
"He took a five-wicket haul in his return match. Taskin and Mustafiz both bowled well. We bowled them out for 114 runs in the first game."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead an unchanged Bangladesh squad for the upcoming home ODI series against New Zealand, despite a newly installed selection panel led by former captain Habibul Bashar.
Former player Tamim Iqbal has been appointed Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president after the Asian country's government stepped in.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz is set to continue as Bangladesh ODI captain until the 2027 World Cup while Litton Das will lead the T20I outfit until the global tournament in 2028.
Litton Das has returned to the Bangladesh squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series at home against Pakistan.
