Chippa United snap up talented Zimbabwe defender Isheanesu Mauchi

The highly-rated 23-year-old centre-back was reportedly a target for a number of teams before the Chilli Boys won the race for his signature.

He has signed a two-year deal after three seasons with Simba where he made a name for himself as a powerful and reliable defender.

A Chippa statement read: "We welcome Isheanesu Mauchi to the Chilli Family. Defensive steel from Zimbabwe added to the squad."

Mauchi had been linked to a number of South African teams including TS Galaxy, AmaZulu and Durban City as well 2025 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League title winners Scottland FC.
