The hosts made a brisk start before rain interrupted play, reaching 49-1 after 9.5 overs. Tagenarine Chanderpaul was the early loss, falling for 15 after hooking Mohammad Ali to deep fine leg.

Brandon King continued the aggressive approach, hitting nine fours in a 50-ball 46 before being trapped lbw by debutant spinner Ali Usman. Pakistan reviewed the decision and the dismissal was confirmed.

Pakistan's spinners found assistance from the surface, with Usman and Sajid Khan applying pressure. Kavem Hodge made 10 from 44 balls before a review confirmed he had edged Sajid behind, with Mohammad Rizwan taking the catch.

Amir Jangoo added 26 before edging Ubaid Shah down the leg side, while Shai Hope scored 29 before dragging a Mohammad Ali delivery onto his stumps.

Justin Greaves then steadied the ship, reaching an unbeaten 64 from 125 balls with eight fours. He shared an unbroken 66-run partnership with captain Roston Chase, who was 36 not out from 70 balls.

Mohammad Ali was Pakistan's leading bowler with 2-49, while Usman and Sajid also posed problems.

West Indies lead the two-match series 1-0 after winning the opening Test in Tarouba by 90 runs.
