Mofokeng was named man of the match after scoring a brace in Pirates' emphatic 5-0 victory over Golden Arrows at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night. The in-form attacker has now netted five goals in his last two outings, having also grabbed a hat-trick against TS Galaxy before the international break.
Speaking after the match, Ouaddou admitted he prefers not to single out players, but made an exception when discussing the rising star.
"I don't like to speak individually about the players, because for me the individual project should always be at the service of the collective project," he said.
"But as you ask me that question, let me say these kinds of players you get maybe every 10 or 15 years."
The Moroccan tactician highlighted Mofokeng's natural ability, describing his talent as something innate. "He has talent. It is in his blood, and he's still young," Ouaddou explained. "Of course, we need to give him some instruction in order to be even more efficient, especially in areas where there are a lot of duels."
Ouaddou also pointed out that the next phase of Mofokeng's development will involve improving his decision-making in tight spaces.
"Sometimes when you have such qualities, you can misuse them. Our job is to make him aware of the strategic areas where he needs to limit his touches and use his cleverness," he added.
The Pirates coach further praised the youngster's versatility and growing influence.
"He's able to give assists, he's able to score, and he's very mobile. Some people think he cannot play as a No 10, but I think he can play everywhere… maybe not as a defender," he joked.
Pirates next face Richards Bay FC as they continue chasing Mamelodi Sundowns in the title race.
