Algeria announce March friendlies against Guatemala and Uruguay

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finalists secured their place in the tournament as winners of Group G ahead of Uganda, Mozambique, Guinea, Botswana and Somalia.

They will take on Argentina, Austria, Jordan at the World Cup, that kicks off in the United States, Canada and Mexico on June 11.

The Algerian Football Federation announced the friendly fixtures that will take place in Italy during their March international window.

The Fennec Foxes take on Guatemala on March 27 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genoa before facing Uruguay at the Allianz Stadium in Torino on 31 March.

Algeria are yet to play Guatemala but beat Uruguay 1-0 in their only other meeting in 2009.
