According to iDiski Times, the 52-year-old has signed a fresh two-year agreement with the club, which also includes an option to extend the deal by a further two seasons.
Zwane's future had become a talking point with his previous contract due to expire at the end of June, but Usuthu have acted early to secure continuity ahead of the new campaign.
The former Kaizer Chiefs mentor arrived at the KwaZulu-Natal outfit in October 2024 alongside Vusumuzi Vilakazi in a co-coaching arrangement following the departure of Spanish coach Pablo Franco Martín.
The partnership delivered stability during a transitional period at the club before Vilakazi made the unexpected decision to resign, leaving Zwane to take charge as the sole head coach.
Since then, Zwane has steadily built his influence at Usuthu and overseen one of the club's strongest league campaigns in recent years.
AmaZulu finished fourth in the Betway Premiership standings with 47 points collected from 30 matches — a return that kept them in contention for continental football until the closing stages of the season.
Although they ultimately fell six points short of securing qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup, the campaign represented clear progress and strengthened belief within the club’s hierarchy.
The contract extension signals AmaZulu's intention to maintain stability on the technical bench and continue building under Zwane's leadership as they target further growth and a stronger push for silverware in the upcoming season.
