Real Madrid beat rivals to complete Yan Diomande transfer from RB Leipzig
Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of highly-rated winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig after completing one of the biggest transfers of the European summer.

The 20-year-old, who came through Bayern's academy after joining from the youth ranks of Nuremberg in 2018, said he is focused on helping the team wherever he is needed, even if it means providing cover for new signing Luis Diaz.
"I can play anywhere up front; on the left, right, as a number 10 or as a striker," Ibrahimovic said. "At Heidenheim I even played a few games as a right-back."
The versatile youngster believes training alongside Diaz will help him improve his own game.
"Lucho is a really good and funny guy who brings a lot of energy," he said. "I'm looking forward to spending time with him and I can learn a lot from him, especially his flair for the game and his creativity."
Ibrahimovic also recalled meeting the Colombian winger before Diaz's move to Bayern.
"When we were in Tokyo three years ago, we played against Liverpool and Lucho. We swapped jerseys after the final whistle," he said.
Despite strong competition for places, Ibrahimovic has made it clear that his priority is to play as often as possible during the 2026-27 campaign.
"I want to get as many minutes as possible, whether in the Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal or the Champions League," he said. "And I want to win as many titles as possible with Bayern."
Ibrahimovic joined Bayern's academy at the age of 12 before signing his first professional contract with the German champions in January 2023.
