Report: Aston Villa, Brighton both eyeing Benin wonderkid Rodolfo Aloko
Highly rated Beninese attacking midfielder Rodolfo Aloko is attracting significant transfer interest from Premier League sides Aston Villa and Brighton.
The 33-year-old joins Villa after a successful four-year spell in France, where he made 148 appearances for Brest and played a vital role in the club's remarkable qualification for the Champions League last season—a first in their history.
A product of the famed Ajax youth academy, Bizot brings with him a wealth of experience across Europe. He began his senior career at Groningen, joining permanently in 2012 and quickly establishing himself as the first-choice keeper over two seasons.
He then moved to Belgian side Genk, where he spent three seasons and gained European exposure through the Europa League.
Bizot's next stop was AZ Alkmaar, where he enjoyed a highly productive four-year spell. Making 164 appearances in all competitions, he was a cornerstone of the team in both domestic and continental campaigns, including the Eredivisie and Europa League.
His consistent performances earned him senior caps for the Netherlands national team, adding international pedigree to his already impressive resume.
Villa's move for Bizot strengthens their goalkeeping department with an experienced and dependable figure who has proven himself in top European leagues and competitions.
