Bafana coach Hugo Broos plays down Oswin Appollis injury concerns

The in-form Orlando Pirates attacker was seen limping off the field at the final whistle as South Africa beat Ghana 1-0 in an international friendly on Tuesday.

Sipho Mbule scored the only goal of the game at Dobsonville Stadium with a superb strike with 58 minutes on the clock.

Bafana play Angola at the Stade de Marrakech next week, ahead of clashes with Egypt and Zimbabwe for control of Group B.

Speaking after their narrow win over the Black Stars, Broos told SABC: "It's not so bad. He just got a kick on his leg, and maybe tomorrow he will have a little problem.

"But ok, it's nothing major."

Looking ahead to the Angola clash, the Belgian added on IOL: "I saw Angola playing in the qualifiers. They drew one game and lost another 1-0.

"If they played that game 10 times, they would win it nine times. They are a good team, technically strong, with a new coach motivating them. It will be a tough match, but I believe in my team.

"We’ve beaten better opponents before, so we must believe in ourselves. Angola will not give us presents, we will have to work for the win. It doesn’t have to be 2-0 or 3-0, just a win."
