Bafana coach Hugo Broos plays down Oswin Appollis injury concerns
Bafana coach Hugo Broos expects Oswin Appollis to be fit to face Angola in their opening game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.

Sipho Mbule scored the only goal of the game against the Black Galaxies at Dobsonville Stadium with a superb strike in an otherwise uneventful tie.
While Bafana used the tie to complete their preparations for the upcoming AFCON, the Ghana B team are looking ahead to the 2026 CHAN qualifiers.
A number of players will also be looking to make the step up to the Black Stars, following the country's failure to to qualify for the upcoming AFCON for the first time in two decades.
The four-time AFCON champions drew to Angola in their final crucial qualifier.
Speaking after the game, the Ghana boss told the Ghana FA: "Because the league is ongoing, we didn't have much time to prepare, but the work was intensive.
"This game was an eye-opener, and I believe we are building a strong CHAN team. The players performed very well against a tough opponent, and we have a bright future ahead."
He also praised Bafana for their impressive performance, on iDiski Times, adding: "It [the friendly] has helped them [Bafana] to see the weaknesses of the team so they can correct it before AFCON.
"It was a game they played, and fortunately we were able to block where we planned to block. And that worked for us because our boys were determined to play.
"I don't take nothing away from Bafana Bafana, they are a very good team. Tactically, if you don't strategise well, they will disgrace you. They are not a bad side at all.
"For us, we had three weeks to prepare, this is a new team. Our players are also still playing the league, [while preparing for this match] they would come in to train with us and go back to their teams to play league games.
"But I'm satisfied with their performance because it's a new team. I'd like to congratulate Bafana Bafana of South Africa; I wish them good luck at AFCON."
