The Catalan side will have a unique chance to clinch the 2025/26 La Liga title when they face second placed rivals Real Madrid this weekend.
Barca are currently eleven points ahead of Los Blancos, with four matches remaining and a victory or draw against Madrid would be enough to win the league.
"We're really looking forward to playing the Clasico," says Kounde to the club website.
"We've trained well, we're fully switched on and we want the win because it would be the best way to clinch the league title at the Spotify Camp Nou in front of the culers.
"We'll leave everything out on the pitch at the Spotify Camp Nou to win the Clásico and the league."
Barcelona are targeting their 29th La Liga title, the second most successful team in the competition behind Real Madrid [36 titles].
