Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson thrilled to complete loan move to Bayern Munich

The Senegalese striker, 24, joins the Bundesliga giants on a season-long loan.

Jackson's debut for his new club will be delayed due to the current international break.

However, he is expected to feature in a couple of weeks when the Bundesliga resumes. His first game for Bayern will be a home league fixture against Hamburg.

Just days later, the former Chelsea man is set for a poignant reunion with his former club in the Champions League group phase. This second game after the break will see Jackson face off against Chelsea in a highly anticipated match.

"I'm really happy to now be part of this great club," Jackson said (via Bayern's official website).

"Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world. Everyone knows the names of the legends who've played here and knows that this club stands for the greatest success. I've got big goals and dreams here and will give my all to help Bayern win further titles."

The swift resolution of the transfer will be a relief for all parties, as Jackson can now focus on his new challenge with the German champions.
