Bayern Munich's Jonah Kusi-Asare joins Fulham on loan

The deal includes an option for Fulham to make the transfer permanent, highlighting the club's belief in Kusi-Asare's potential.

Prior to the move, Bayern extended Kusi-Asare's contract, which was set to expire in 2026, underscoring their commitment to the young forward.

Sporting director Christoph Freund remarked, "Jonah has developed very well with us over the past year and a half and was able to make his professional debut in his first full season in Munich. He has outstanding potential and should now gain further valuable experience at the highest European level.

"We will be closely monitoring him and are convinced that he will take the next steps in his development and continue to mature at Fulham."

Kusi-Asare made his Bundesliga debut in April 2025 and has since featured in pre-season matches, including a 6–0 victory over RB Leipzig. He has also earned three caps for Sweden's U21 national team.

Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan expressed enthusiasm about the signing, stating, "I am thrilled to welcome Jonah Kusi-Asare to Fulham. He is a talented young striker, and we are excited that he is joining our team on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich, with the option to make the move permanent."

This move marks a significant step in Kusi-Asare's development, providing him with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the Premier League while remaining under Bayern's watchful eye.
