Ambitious Richards Bay unveil 11 new signings
Richards Bay have announced the signing of 11 new players as they bid to improve on last season's eighth placed Betway Premiership finish.
The former Maritzburg United striker joined the Natal Rich Boyz from All Stars in 2023.
He went on to play 52 times, scoring six goals and creating three for Richards Bay.
Figuareido ultimately left the club to join Chippa coach Sinethemba Badela, who he knows well from his time at All Stars.
The player has since been training with the Chilli Boys in a bid to secure a deal for the upcoming Betway Premiership but is yet to agree a formal move.
Biyela said on FARPost: "The coach [Sinethemba Badela] has been calling that he wants Justice.
"He helped him in the NFD (National First Division). "So, one of the things we won't do is to block the player if they approach us in a respectful manner.
"We don't just let you go for free, we hold the clearance and see if what we agreed on will happen. So, we're still waiting for what we agreed on so he can then [officially] move to Chippa, the one that he's still training with.
"But for now, officially, he's a Richards Bay player until something happens."
