Daniel Farke demands full focus as Leeds United prepare for Aston Villa test

With his team battling to climb away from the relegation zone, Farke stressed that consistency will be vital against a strong Villa outfit sitting comfortably in the top six.

"At this level, every match is a huge challenge," Farke said. "Especially as a newly promoted side, you must be at your very best. If you are not, you have no chance of taking points." Leeds need sharp performances in all areas, he added, if they are to trouble Aston Villa.

The international break has disrupted Leeds's preparations, Farke admitted. "Some players arrive late; it complicates things," he said. "But that only makes it more important to be spot-on in the details. If we get that right, we have a real chance, particularly at home."

Farke reserved special praise for Villa manager Unai Emery, describing him as one of the "best in the business."

He noted Emery's track record in Europe, calling it "incredible," and added: "They are difficult to open, difficult to create chances against. They always have a clear strategy."

Villa have enjoyed a strong start to the 2025/26 season, sitting 6th in the Premier League table ahead of the weekend's fixtures.

According to current team-comparison data, Leeds average under one goal per game and have struggled defensively, while Villa have been consistent in attack and one of the league's strongest at the back.

Farke's message is clear: Leeds must maintain concentration, exploit every opportunity, and match Villa's tactical discipline if they are to secure a vital result in their fight for Premier League survival.
