"We will build on this performance," says Chippa coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi after Nedbank Cup defeat
Chippa United coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi says he will build on his side's disappointing Nedbank Cup round of 32 defeat to Durban City.

The former Chippa United coach joined the Durban based outfit to replace Gavin Hunt, who has since moved onto replace Steve Barker at Stellenbosch.
Badela led City in a 1-0 Betway Premiership victory over Polokwane City in his first match in charge before losing 2-0 to Chippa and winning a penalty shootout against the same side in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash last Friday.
According to FarPost, assistant coach Pitso Dladla is set to take the reins until a long-term decision is made. Dladla assisted both Hunt and Badela during their stints.
The publication also noted that Durban City management informed the squad the general feeling was that Badela's style of football will require some time to develop, which clashes with the priory to secure results at this stage of the season.
City are currently sitting in sixth position on the 2025/26 Betway Premiership table and are awaiting their next opponents to be drawn for the Nedbank Cup Round of 16.
