Eight Premier League stars shortlisted for January Player of the Month award

The final decision combining public votes and a panel of experts will be announced on Monday, 9 February.

Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari earned his place after delivering two goals and two assists in four matches. The Swedish international scored against Fulham and Burnley and created key goals against Manchester City and Everton, becoming an important figure under Fabian Hurzeler.

Manchester United's Patrick Dorgu impressed during the club's unbeaten month, recording two goals and an assist. His derby strike against Manchester City and a powerful effort in a 3-2 victory over Arsenal highlighted his impact under head coach Michael Carrick.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez contributed three goals and one assist in five matches, including dramatic late strikes against Manchester City and West Ham United as he thrived under Liam Rosenior.

Bournemouth teenager Junior Kroupi scored three times in five games, including memorable efforts against Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers, helping his side secure wins over Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Wolves.

West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville found form with three goals in his final three league appearances of the month, while Brentford striker Igor Thiago struck five goals in two matches to reach 16 for the season and continue his push in the Golden Boot race.

Fulham forward Harry Wilson delivered decisive late winners and added another goal against Liverpool, while Liverpool playmaker Florian Wirtz scored three goals and registered one assist, including a standout display in a 4-1 win over Newcastle United.

With strong performances across the league, the January shortlist reflected a fiercely competitive month filled with decisive goals, crucial assists and match-winning moments that kept the Player of the Month race wide open.
