Bradley Grobler (5', 50') bagged a brace and Thabang Monare (56') put the result beyond doubt after Flavio Silva had pulled Chiefs level with his goal after 13 minutes.
The result saw Babina Noko end the evening in first place on the league standings with 16 points, and Amakhosi in third with 13 points, from six games.
Reflecting on the performance and his side's strong start to their campaign, a happy Tinkler said on SuperSport: "We knew it would be extremely tough but we came up with a game plan and worked on it during the week.
"We knew we would have to suffer and work hard but most important was dealing with that and coming through it and utilising the opportunities we created. I am proud of the boys. What we did in training came out on the pitch. That is how I judge myself as a coach. "
Tinkler also praised Man of the Match Grobler, who not only scored two, but grabbed an assist as well to take his tally for the season to six goals in all competitions.
"Bradley was outstanding," the coach added.
“Not only with his two goals but with his aerial ability, winning headers, combining and finding other players on transition. We looked a threat and they (Chiefs) struggled to deal with us.”
